Gallery KKI, a contemporary art gallery in South Korea, founded in 2017 by visionary art director and Korean actor Lee Kwang-ki, participates in ART BUSAN 2023 at Booth D-32. To May 7th, Gallery KKI will showcase a selection of works by several artists, including Kim Kangyong, Kim Yunshin, Byun Shiji, Suh JungTae, Woo Jongtaek, Yang Jongyong, and Remy Hysbergue. Additionally, works by Alain Clement will be available for viewing by request at the booth.

One artist that Gallery KKI is especially excited to introduce to the Korean art scene is Remy Hysbergue, a French abstract artist. His unique works, based on velvet support, challenge the boundaries of abstraction and explore the possibilities of unconventional surfaces. Gallery KKI has recently signed an Asia-wide exclusive contract with Hysbergue, and his works will be shown in Korea for the first time. The luminosity and materiality of his works, due to the qualities of velvet, can only be fully appreciated in person.
