In anticipation of the final round of the 2023 League of Legends World Championship, Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul will host four days of festivities, commencing on Friday.
South Korea's T1 secured a spot in the final by defeating China's JDG Intel Esports Club on November 12. The final clash between T1 and China's Weibo Gaming is scheduled to take place at the Gocheok Sky Dome in southern Seoul.

For fans without tickets to the final, the Seoul Metropolitan Government is arranging a live-stream of the event on a stage with a large screen at Gwanghwamun Square on Sunday. The square can accommodate up to 6,000 viewers for the live-streamed game.
On Saturday evening, K-pop idol groups including (G)I-DLE, Mushvenom, and F.T. Island will perform at Gwanghwamun Square to celebrate the World Championship. Renowned figures like Norwegian DJ Alan Walker and American singer Nicki Taylor are also set to take the stage.
To enhance the spectator experience, an experience zone featuring 12 games from local game production companies will be set up at Gwanghwamun Square, offering attendees a diverse gaming experience.

In terms of crowd management, the city government plans to deploy 330 safety personnel to Gwanghwamun Square on Saturday. Additionally, one lane of traffic from Gwanghwamun Square to Seoul City Hall will be closed from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday.
On Sunday, the city government will provide a free shuttle service from Guil Station on Subway Line No. 1 to Sindorim Station on Subway Line No. 1 and No. 2 from 9 p.m. to midnight, facilitating transportation for spectators attending the championship at the Gocheok Sky Dome.
