Shin-yang Park holds his first solo exhibition, 'The 4th Wall' in Pyungtaek.
Park is a famous actor who has played a leading role in Korea's representative media works such as 'Lovers in Paris' and 'The War of Money'. He began painting around 2013 and later went on to study Western Painting at Andong National University Graduate School of Art and Philosophy at Sogang University Graduate School for an in-depth exploration of art.

The artist expressed his longing for expression from longing, immersion, and isolation, which he had agonized for decades since his acting career. Through the exhibition, the audience will be able to see all the energy and infinite possibilities of Park, known as an actor, in the process of being reborn as an artist.
In the exhibition, more than 100 paintings and media art that he has produced over the past decade will be exhibited. In particular, 'The 4th Wall', the exhibition name and the name of the artwork, is used as the artist's studio during the actual exhibition and provides the effect of installation art.

He displays a series of portrait paintings on the theme of longing and an interview video on the theme of immersion and relaxation. In the interview video, interviews with guest curators Young-un Kim, and the director of the mM Art Center, and Seung-il Choi are also included to explain the planning intention of the exhibition and the space.
Meanwhile, the artist's essay will also be published during the exhibition, and a publication ceremony will be held at the art center.

The exhibition will be held at the mM Art Center in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province from the 19th to April 30th next year.
