An exhibition will be held where you can meet the works of famous Korean artist Lee Ufan and Mark Rothko, a pioneer of the New York School of Art in the U.S., at the same time.

The exhibition, which will be held from September 4, was organized by artist Lee Ufan in cooperation with the bereaved family of Mark Rothko.

Lee Ufan led Mono-ha, a Japanese avant-garde art group, in the late 1960s, and his work includes an understanding of nature and materiality.

Mark Rothko is one of the most influential artists of the 20th century and a pioneer of the New York School, known for his large-scale abstract works.

This exhibition will show each artist's work independently on each floor while noting the commonalities between the two artists in color, surface, and atmosphere.

Visitors will feel a sublime and meditative effect through the works of the two artists.
