BTS member Jimin has once again demonstrated his global appeal by securing the No. 14 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with his latest single "Who." This achievement, highlighted in the chart preview released on Tuesday, marks another significant milestone in his burgeoning solo career.
"Who" serves as the lead track from Jimin's second solo EP, "Muse," which itself reached the impressive position of No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. This mirrors the success of his previous EP, "Face," solidifying his status as a formidable solo artist. Jimin joins fellow BTS members Suga and V, who have also made their mark on the Billboard 200 with their respective solo albums "D-Day" and "Layover."
This latest entry marks Jimin's fifth solo appearance on the Hot 100 chart. His solo career began with "Vibe," a collaboration with Taeyang, followed by hits like "Set Me Free Pt. 2" and "Like Crazy" from his debut EP. Notably, "Like Crazy" made history as the first song by a Korean solo artist to top the chart. Prior to "Who," Jimin's pre-release track "Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)" from the "Muse" EP peaked at No. 88 on the Hot 100.
In addition to his Billboard success, "Who" also achieved a remarkable feat on the UK's Official Singles Chart, where it climbed to No. 4—Jimin's highest position on this chart to date. This dual-chart success underscores the wide-reaching influence and popularity of Jimin's music.
Jimin's ongoing achievements highlight the growing global presence of Korean artists in mainstream music markets, a trend spearheaded by BTS and its members. As Jimin continues to break new ground with his solo endeavors, fans and industry watchers alike eagerly anticipate his future projects.
