Tomorrow X Together (TXT) is set to introduce their official characters for the first time on August 1, according to an announcement from their label Big Hit Music on Monday.
This release marks a significant milestone for the band, as it is the first time TXT will present official characters based on their likenesses. The creation of these characters involved active participation from all five members of the group. They contributed to the design process, including sketching, naming, and defining the traits of these miniature representations. The characters are designed to reflect the members' personalities and physical attributes, incorporating elements such as shyness, a preference for hoodies, and features reminiscent of fennec foxes, as revealed in a teaser video.
In parallel with this exciting development, TXT is currently on their world tour titled "Act: Promise," which includes performances across Japan. The group has already captivated audiences at Tokyo Dome and Kyocera Dome in Osaka, and they are scheduled to perform in Nagoya this Sunday. This tour highlights TXT's rapid rise in the K-pop industry, as they become the fastest act to perform at Japan's four largest domes since their debut.
