EXO’s Baekhyun has once again achieved impressive sales, with his fourth solo EP, “Hello, World,” surpassing 1 million copies sold, according to a statement from his agency, INB100, on Wednesday. The album reached this milestone in just five days, marking Baekhyun’s third consecutive million-seller as a solo artist.
The six-track mini album sold over 890,000 copies on the day of its release and quickly topped iTunes’ Top Albums Chart in 33 regions. The main track, “Pineapple Slice,” also proved popular, hitting No. 1 on iTunes’ Top Songs Chart in 24 regions.
In an interview with Elle Korea, Baekhyun shared that this album “could be one that declares that I am still alive,” emphasizing his confidence in the project after hearing “Pineapple Slice” for the first time.
In celebration of the release, Baekhyun is hosting a pop-up store in Seoul, which will be open until Friday.
