Taeyang, a member of Big Bang and a renowned solo artist, will broadcast his upcoming live concert in Tokyo in real time through Beyond Live, a global online platform, according to his agency The Black Label on Wednesday. This marks the first time one of his solo concerts will be livestreamed to audiences worldwide.
The livestream event is part of Taeyang’s ongoing solo tour, “The Light Year,” which kicked off on August 31 in Seoul with a two-date concert. This was his first solo concert in seven years, and it featured surprise guest appearances from fellow Big Bang members G-Dragon and Daesung, performing together as a trio for the first time in years.
In a heartfelt social media post, Taeyang expressed how much the concert meant to him, sharing his joy and gratitude towards his fans.
Following the Seoul concerts, Taeyang’s tour will take him to Japan, with performances scheduled in Osaka on September 26-27 and in Tokyo on September 30. After the Tokyo concert, which will be streamed live, the tour will continue in other Asian cities, including Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, and Taipei.
