The 2024 LCK Awards, an event recognizing the year’s most outstanding teams and players in the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK), will take place on December 29 at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) Art Hall 1 in Seoul. Hosted by LCK, the Korean professional league for League of Legends (LoL) esports, the ceremony highlights top performers and milestones achieved throughout the year.
Among the honors to be awarded are Player of the Year, as well as positional recognitions such as Top Player of the Year, Jungle Player of the Year, Mid Player of the Year, Bot Player of the Year, and Support Player of the Year. Additional accolades include Player of the Split, Regular Season MVP, All-LCK First Team, Rookie of the Year, and Best Coach, alongside various sponsor-driven special awards.
This year’s awards are expected to feature intense competition among Gen.G, Hanwha Life Esports, and T1, reflecting their exceptional performances during the 2024 season. Gen.G made history by claiming their fourth consecutive LCK Spring title and brought home the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) championship for the first time in seven years for an LCK team. Meanwhile, Hanwha Life Esports secured their first-ever LCK title during the Summer Split since their inception in 2018. T1 capped off the year with a triumphant fifth victory at the World Championship, cementing their dominance on the global stage.
Now in its fourth year, the LCK Awards will be held as part of the 2024 SeoulCon, a global influencer convention organized by the Seoul Business Agency (SBA). Scheduled from December 28, 2024, to January 1, 2025, SeoulCon will take place across DDP, featuring industry-leading influencers and diverse content tailored to a global audience.
To accommodate a record number of fans, the LCK Awards will provide around 1,000 seats, marking the largest attendance in the event’s history. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis through the Woori Bank app, as well as through social media promotions on LCK’s official channels. Details about ticket availability will be announced in the coming weeks.
LCK Secretary General Lee Jung Hoon expressed gratitude to the community, saying, “Thanks to the unwavering support of our fans, the ten teams, and our sponsors, 2024 has been another remarkable year for LCK. We invite everyone to join us for this celebratory event to reflect on the achievements of the past year.”
As the LCK Awards continue to grow in scale and prestige, it remains a testament to the league’s prominence in global esports. Fans and stakeholders alike eagerly anticipate the event, which celebrates both the competitive spirit of League of Legends and the dedication of the teams and players who make it all possible.
