Vincent van Gogh's painting, 'De Pastorie in Nuenen in het voorjaar(1884)', which was stolen in March 2020, will be re-exhibited at a museum in the Netherlands from March.

The painting was stolen by a thief who broke through the glass windows of the museum and was returned to the work of Arthur Brand, an art detective.

Arthur Brand, an art detective pursuing the whereabouts of the stolen works, claimed that an anonymous man handed them over in an IKEA bag.

The painting revealed that the museum is looking for ways to restore it because there are traces of damage from the theft.

The painting features the scenery of a garden in the Dutch village of Nunan, which Gogh painted while living with his parents, and is worth about worth about $6 million.

The Groninger Museum, located in the northern Netherlands, will remove dust from the painting and go through a restoration process, before putting it back on display from March 29.
