In a press release, INB100 stated, "Baekhyun, Xiumin, and Chen's solo activities will take place at the independent label with the mutual agreement with SM Entertainment." The decision to launch the label stems from the members' contemplation about their future as artists, particularly considering the evolving landscape of the K-pop industry.
INB100 aims to uphold the uniqueness and individuality of each member, fostering an environment where they can experiment and produce their own work. SM Entertainment reiterated that the members' EXO activities will proceed according to their contracts with the agency.
D.O., another EXO member, has signed with another agency, Company Soosoo, for his individual pursuits in singing and acting.
Despite the individual ventures, SM Entertainment confirmed that all eight members of EXO will continue as a group, presenting new music and performances. They are scheduled to participate in EXO's meet and greet planned for April and engage in various activities to connect with their fan base.
