Netmarble's upcoming action role-playing game (RPG) Solo Leveling: ARISE has garnered significant attention, with over 12 million users pre-registering worldwide.

The game, adapted from the immensely popular web novel by Chu Gong, boasts a dedicated fanbase owing to its successful webtoon and animated series adaptations.

Netmarble executives express confidence in the game's potential, comparing it to the revenue success of The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross.

Centered around protagonist Sung Jin-woo's journey to become a high-class hunter, the game is designed for single-player action experiences, with no immediate plans for multiplayer features.

Despite this, the company is considering implementing a community system in future updates. Crafted with a focus on narrative and action, the game follows Jin-woo's evolution from a lowly E rank to a powerful shadow monarch. Cosmetic items have no impact on gameplay, while in-game items and weapons can be acquired through gameplay, events, and a loot box system.

Netmarble's monetization strategy includes monthly subscriptions and battle passes, with plans to expand to Steam and console versions in the future.
