In alignment with Pledis' tradition of incorporating numbers into group names, similar to Seventeen, TWS is expected to radiate positive energy, fostering a desire among fans to share every moment with the group, according to statements from Pledis.
Pledis initiated the introduction of TWS by launching an official Instagram account for the new boy group, accompanied by a video presenting the team name and logo. Further details, including the number of team members and the exact debut date, will be disclosed at a later time.
As of the current year, Pledis Entertainment ranks as the second-highest profit-generating label within the Hybe corporation, surpassed only by Ador, producer of NewJeans. The leading profit-making label remains Big Hit, the powerhouse behind global sensations BTS.
