Seventeen’s Jeonghan and Wonwoo unveiled the director’s cut version of their haunting music video “Last Night (Guitar by Park Ju-won)” on Sunday. This two-minute-and-45-second black-and-white comic narrative delves into an eerie tale inspired by a widespread urban legend, where a man grapples with recurring nightmares and another lives in constant fear of being forgotten.

The main track, “This Man,” is part of their debut single released on June 17. It intricately weaves a storyline crafted by award-winning thriller and horror novelist Cho Ye-eun. Known for her gripping narratives, Cho’s work has earned accolades such as the Excellence Prize at the 2nd Goldenbough Time Leap Fiction Contest and the Grand Prize at the 4th Kyobo Story Contest.

Jeonghan and Wonwoo’s solo debut made waves by claiming the top spot on Oricon’s daily single ranking dated June 20. Additionally, “Last Night (Guitar by Park Ju-won)” swiftly ascended to the No. 3 position on the Worldwide iTunes Song chart upon its release, solidifying their global appeal and artistic prowess.
