Several K-pop singers are gearing up to release new music in May, offering a variety of sounds and rhythms to fans worldwide.

D.O. (May 7)
D.O., also known as Doh Kyung-soo, will release his third mini-album titled "Blossom" on May 7. The album, consisting of six tracks, is described as a showcase of his musical growth. The lead single, "Mars," is a medium-tempo pop song depicting a couple navigating differences in their relationship.

ZB1 (May 13)
Boy band ZEROBASEONE (ZB1) will unveil their third mini-album, "You had me at HELLO," on May 13. Composed of nine winners from the 2023 audition program "Boys Planet," ZB1 will showcase their distinct voices in the album, including the lead single, details of which are yet to be revealed. The group will release a pre-album track titled "Sweat" on April 24.

NewJeans (May 24)Girl group NewJeans will make a comeback with their new album, "How Sweet," on May 24. The album's title track will be accompanied by a music video for the song "Bubble Gum," set to be released on April 27. Member Hyein is currently on a break due to a foot injury, with efforts underway to support her recovery.
Other Releases
Yook Sung-jae of BTOB will drop a solo album on May 9, while Stray Kids will release a collaborative single with pop star Charlie Puth titled "Lose My Breath" on May 10. Additionally, girl group aespa and former (G)I-DLE member Soojin plan to release new music in May, with exact dates yet to be disclosed.
