Lim Dongseung is a Korean artist born in 1976. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Seoul National University. Lim's artistic focus is on contemplation, thinking, and expanding his methodology while seeking a suitable vantage point to observe the world and life. He believes this vantage point should be neither too close nor too far from his subjects.

Lim has participated in six solo exhibitions and numerous group exhibitions, starting with his 2009 solo exhibition, "Pictures of Positive," at the Park Soo-geun Museum of Art. His work is also included in the collection of the National Museum of Modern Art Art Bank.
