The Anime x Game Festival 2025, one of South Korea's most significant subculture events, is preparing to make its highly anticipated return for its sixth edition. The three-day celebration will take place from December 5 to 7 at Kintex in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province, bringing together thousands of anime, gaming, and webtoon enthusiasts under one roof.
Since its launch in 2018, AGF Korea has established itself as a premier destination for fans of Japanese and Korean pop culture. The festival has grown exponentially over the years, creating a comprehensive platform that spans multiple entertainment mediums including animation, video games, comics, webtoons, light novels, and virtual YouTubers. This year's event is being jointly organized by several leading industry powerhouses, including Aniplus, Daewon Media, Sony Music Entertainment Japan, and DC Media.
The 2025 festival promises an extensive lineup of activities and immersive experiences designed to captivate attendees. Visitors can explore themed exhibitions showcasing popular franchises, browse merchandise pop-ups featuring exclusive items, and enjoy interactive zones that allow hands-on engagement with their favorite content. The festival's main stages will host an impressive array of live entertainment, including in-depth talk sessions with industry professionals, spectacular cosplay showcases, and special appearances by renowned voice actors. Two major headliners have been confirmed for this year's stage events: Maaya Uchida, the acclaimed voice actress known for her lead role in the popular anime "Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions," will be unveiling her latest animation project. Joining her is Yusuke Kobayashi, the talented voice actor behind Subaru Natsuki in the hit series "Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World."
Cosplay enthusiasts are encouraged to participate in the festivities, with organizers confirming that no prior registration is required for those wishing to attend in costume. To enhance the visitor experience, organizers have introduced a new Fast Ticket system for 2025, which grants early access to the venue thirty minutes before general admission begins. However, availability is limited, with only 1,000 Fast Tickets available for purchase each day.
Ticketing information has been released, with advance tickets currently available for purchase through Melon Ticket's official website. Single-day passes are priced at 24,000 won, while three-day passes offering full festival access are available for 55,000 won. The festival will operate daily from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., providing ample time for attendees to explore all the offerings and participate in scheduled activities throughout the three-day event.
