On Friday, YG Entertainment announced that Blackpink's performance video for "Kill This Love" has reached a significant milestone, amassing 500 million views on YouTube. This marks the group's 16th video to achieve such a feat and the third dance practice video to join the ranks, following "How You Like That" and Lisa's solo track "Money." Blackpink stands as the first K-pop act to boast three dance videos surpassing the 500 million views mark.

"Kill This Love" originally released in 2019, emerged as a megahit for Blackpink, securing the No. 41 position on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. The title track from the EP also made history by claiming the No. 24 spot on the Billboard 200, setting records for a K-pop girl group at that time.

The music video for "Kill This Love" further distinguished itself by being the sole K-pop entry on YouTube's Ten Most Viewed Music Videos in 2019. Blackpink continues to make waves with their unparalleled success, solidifying their impact on the global music scene.
