SNEP provides certifications based on streaming records, with gold awarded for 15 million streams, platinum for 30 million streams, and diamond for 50 million streams. "Baby Shark" has surpassed 15 million streams in France, earning the gold certification from SNEP.

In July of the previous year, the popular children's song also received a 4X Platinum certification from the British Phonographic Industry, signifying over 2.4 million copies in sales.

"Baby Shark" has further demonstrated its global appeal by surpassing a billion streams on the Spotify platform. It secured the eighth position on Britain’s Official Top 200 most-streamed songs in 2022.

The Pinkfong Company, responsible for the creation of "Baby Shark," conveyed in a press release, "Baby Shark proved its global popularity, including in France, by receiving a gold certification from SNEP." The company expressed its commitment to continuing the creation of 'K-kids pop' that resonates with audiences worldwide, irrespective of nationality or age.
