It is news that the first exhibition of German artist Gerhard Richter's work has been held in New York. Focusing on Richter's representative works announced in December 2022 at the David Zwarner Gallery, works from 2016 to 2023 will be presented in various forms, including paper paintings and sculptures. This exhibition is the artist's first solo exhibition in New York since the retrospective held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2020, and runs until April 29th.

Richter is regarded as one of the most important artists active from the 1960s to the present, and has used a variety of styles and techniques while exploring the relationship between painting and photography. The artist presents works differentiated from general images by working in a dual way of expression and abstraction.
