Seoul Auction's Contemporary Art Sale saw the withdrawal of G-Dragon's painting "Youth is Flower," the auction house announced on Friday.

Originally scheduled for auction with a starting price of 30 million won ($22,270), the marker and spray paint artwork was removed from the sale at the request of its anonymous owner. The owner did not provide a specific reason for the decision.

G-Dragon's agency, Galaxy Corporation, clarified to local press that neither the artist nor the agency was involved in submitting the painting for auction, and they were unaware of the owner's identity. Both parties also did not request the painting's removal from the auction.

This marks the first appearance of a G-Dragon painting in an auction setting. "Youth is Flower," created in 2017, features the Big Bang member's distinctive daisy character and had been on display at Seoul Auction's Gangnam Center since earlier in the month.
