In its upcoming third season, the MBC travel reality show, "Adventure by Accident," will feature webcomics creator Kian84 and his friends embarking on an unplanned adventure through the captivating landscapes of Madagascar. The show, known for its spontaneous and unscripted journeys, has previously explored South America and India in its first and second seasons, respectively.
The first season, which aired in December of last year, showcased Kian84, accompanied by actor Lee Si-eon and travel YouTuber Pani Bottle, on a 10-day expedition across South America. The second season followed Kian84's travels to India with TV personality Dex and Pani Bottle.
This time, the entire cast from the previous seasons will reunite to delve into the unique culture and landscapes of Madagascar, an island country in Africa. Producer Kim Ji-woo expressed excitement about introducing viewers to the less-explored destination, aiming to highlight the daily lives of the locals, particularly the younger generations.

Contrary to common associations of Africa with civil unrest or famine, the show aims to present a different perspective by focusing on the vibrant and diverse experiences of the people in Madagascar. The producers aimed to provide an in-depth look into the lives of millennials and Gen Z individuals, drawing attention away from stereotypes.
During a press conference held at MBC in Mapo District, Seoul, Kim Ji-woo emphasized the show's intention to showcase the everyday lives of the locals, moving beyond preconceived notions. The team aimed to explore and understand the dynamics of life in Madagascar, presenting a narrative that goes beyond the typical representations of the continent.
Kian84 hinted at the season's uniqueness, claiming it to be more captivating than previous journeys. While acknowledging a comparatively weaker start in the first episode, he promised that the subsequent episodes would be "unbelievable," expressing gratitude to the producer and co-cast members for creating an engaging reality show.
The producer, Kim Ji-woo, teased viewers with the promise of intriguing scenes in the new season, emphasizing the shift from the spiritual and sacred encounters in India to more physically engaging and exciting experiences in Africa. The overarching theme of the third season is described as a "friends' trip," highlighting the friendships formed during the journey, both with fellow cast members and individuals encountered along the way.
"Adventure by Accident 3" is set to air every Sunday at 9:10 p.m., promising viewers an immersive and entertaining exploration of Madagascar's cultural richness and natural beauty.
