This achievement places NewJeans in the same league as Blackpink, who earlier achieved 26 consecutive weeks with their album "The Album," released on Oct. 2, 2020. Notably, "Get Up" topped the Billboard chart on Aug. 5 last year, marking a significant milestone for the group a year and a half after their debut.
According to ADOR, NewJeans' agency, "Get Up" is also recognized as the longest-charting album on the Billboard 200 by a fourth-generation K-pop girl group.
The EP's lead track, "Super Shy" (2023), secured a position at No. 79 on the Billboard Global Excl. US, while another lead track, "ETA" (2023), sits at No. 154.
NewJeans' song "Ditto" (2022) achieved chart success, securing the No. 94 spot on the Billboard Global Excl. US and No. 184 on the Global 200. Additionally, "OMG" (2023) reached No. 93 on the Billboard Global Excl. US and No. 179 on the Global 200 chart.
Debuting in July 2022 under the agency ADOR, a music label under HYBE, NewJeans has swiftly become a prominent name in K-pop. Known for hits like "Attention" (2022), "Ditto" (2022), and "Hype Boy" (2022), the group has earned nominations in two categories for the upcoming iHeartRadio Music Awards: Kpop Song of the Year and Best New Artist (K-pop). The awards ceremony is scheduled for April 1.
