Emphasizing their self-producing identity, all members of (G)I-DLE actively participated in composing and writing the lyrics for each track on the album. The agency highlights the group's commitment to solidifying their position as a self-sufficient creative force.
"Super Lady" is introduced as a tribute to all "super ladies" globally, celebrating the beauty and strength of women. The album has garnered significant attention, surpassing 1.8 million copies in preorders.
However, the prereleased song "Wife" faced controversy after being deemed unsuitable for broadcasting by KBS, the country's largest public broadcaster, citing "too explicit" lyrics.
Originally scheduled to mark the album's release with a press conference on Monday, the event was unexpectedly canceled two days ahead of the release. This decision came as members Minnie and Yuqi suspended their activities due to health reasons.
