Blackpink Announces Collaboration with Japanese Artist Takashi Murakami

US retail platform NTWRK has revealed that Blackpink will be collaborating with Japanese pop artist Takashi Murakami. The collaboration, confirmed by a source from YG Plus, an affiliate of label YG Entertainment, is set to be unveiled on December 8 as a limited-edition release.

In addition to this collaboration, Blackpink secured the "Top K-Pop Touring Artist" award, a newly introduced category at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards.

Amid renewed speculations about the group's contract renewal with YG Entertainment, the management clarified that discussions are ongoing but solely for group activities. The confirmation came through the company's quarterly report last week, affirming that negotiations are currently in progress.
