SM Entertainment, a prominent K-pop agency, has entered a two-year partnership with the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) to support the government's "Visit Korea Year" campaign. The collaboration aims to feature popular SM Entertainment artists exploring and introducing Korean tourist destinations in their music and teaser videos.

The memorandum of understanding (MOU) was officially signed on Thursday, with SM Entertainment Chief Operating Officer Tak Young-jun and six other officials in attendance. Under the terms of the MOU, iconic tourist spots and unique Korean experiences will be highlighted in the music and teaser videos of SM Entertainment's artists. Additionally, the artists' portraits will be incorporated into promotional material for the KTO.
As part of the collaboration, a special exhibition showcasing SM Entertainment artists is planned at the HiKR Ground publicity center in central Seoul. The K-pop agency did not disclose further details, including the exhibition's opening date.
The "Visit Korea Year" initiative is a key project of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism for the year, aiming to attract 20 million foreign tourists to Korea in 2024.
