Several male solo artists are making waves in the music industry this May, with each bringing their unique style and sound to the forefront.

Lim Young-woong, renowned for his success on the trot audition program "Mr. Trot," recently released two tracks, "Warmth" and "Home," both of which swiftly ascended to the top two spots on major music charts in Korea within an hour of their debut. Scheduled to perform at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on May 25-26, Lim is expected to draw crowds of over 100,000 attendees.

D.O., also known as Doh Kyung Soo and a member of the popular group EXO, has returned as a solo artist with his third mini-album, "Blossom." His album includes six tracks, with "Popcorn" as a pre-released single and "Mars" as the title track. D.O. is gearing up for his first solo fan concert tour, "Bloom," starting in Seoul in June and spanning nine Asian cities.

BTOB's Yook Sung-jae is set to release his new solo single, "Exhibition: Look Closely," four years after his last solo project. The album, produced under his new agency, IWillMedia, features tracks that showcase Sung-jae's versatility as a solo artist. His fan meeting, "Look Closely," will be held in Seoul on May 18-19.

RM, leader of BTS, will unveil his second solo album, "Right Place, Wrong Person," on May 24. The album comprises 11 tracks, all featuring lyrics penned by RM himself. Collaborating with renowned directors and artists for the album artwork and concept photos, RM aims to transcend the boundaries of art through his music.

Closing out the month, EXO's leader Suho will make his solo comeback with his third mini-album, "1 to 3," featuring two title tracks, "1 to 3" and "Cheese," the latter featuring Wendy of Red Velvet. Suho, currently starring in the MBN series "Missing Crown Prince," is also preparing for his first solo concert, "Su:Home," on May 25-26.
