Im Baek-woon, president of the Korean Entertainment Producer’s Association, emphasized the concert’s significance, noting that it has chronicled the evolution of K-pop from its inception in the 1990s to its current status as a globally recognized cultural phenomenon.

This year's event will include the announcement of the "dream rookie" of the year, selected through a voting process conducted via the K-pop Seoul app from Monday to September 26. The lineup of performers for the 2024 Dream Concert has yet to be disclosed.
