Matin Kim Unveils Cabin Crew Uniform for Aero K Collaboration

Korean fashion brand Matin Kim has revealed a new cabin crew uniform for domestic airline Aero K on Monday. This collaboration coincides with the low-cost carrier's (LCC) forthcoming launch at Incheon International Airport, scheduled for late May.

The limited-edition Maxi Hoody Jumper, designed by Matin Kim, features a loose silhouette with adjustable waist strings and is water-resistant, offering practicality for cabin service. Complementing the outfit is a Clutch Belt Bag made from cowhide leather, tailored specifically to meet cabin crew needs.

The crew at Aero K commenced wearing the new uniform on Monday, with a limited quantity of collaborative products available at the Matin Kim store located at Hyundai Department Store’s branch in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, the LCC's hub.

Matin Kim expressed their satisfaction with the collaboration, highlighting the synergy between their unique charms and Aero K's forward-thinking initiatives. The fashion company aims to expand its reach and establish a distinct position through diverse collaborations across various fields.

The collaboration has garnered praise for its innovative approach, with social media feedback describing the uniforms as "innovative," "cool," and "trendy." Fashion enthusiasts and airline customers have shown enthusiasm, expressing interest in purchasing the jumper and belt bag online.

Matin Kim enjoys popularity among young people in Korea and Japan, with plans for pop-up stores in Tokyo's Shibuya PARCO in partnership with Hyundai Department Store and Japan's major retail group PARCO from May 10 to the end of July. Established in 2015 by designer Kim Da-in, the brand has gained recognition in Japan, achieving substantial sales during previous pop-up events.
