Vivian Suter’s the first solo exhibition in Korea

The Swiss-Argentinian artist Vivian Suter will hold the solo exhibition from 19 July to 19 August at the Gangnam Gladstone gallery in Korea.


Vivian Suter who currently lives and works in Panajachel, Guatemala, have been held numerous her solo exhibitions at many cities like Switzerland, Madrid, Berlin, London and etc.


Her works were inspired by abstract expressionism, color theory, and her natural environment. She has been drawn on the environment around her by referencing the sun, rain, wind and trees of Guatemala for the past thirty years. She also used rainfall, eroded dirt, animal life and plant matter for her work outdoors.

This Vivian Suter’s solo exhibition present recent works of her. The unique canvases that layered and hung further activate the exhibition space such as the walls, ceiling, stairwell and floor.
