Netflix has announced that its popular apocalyptic horror series "Sweet Home" will return for a third season next month. The new installment of the series is scheduled to premiere on July 19, the streaming platform confirmed on Wednesday.

"Sweet Home," based on the webtoon of the same name by Naver, first premiered in December 2020, with its second season following in December 2022. The series centers on the struggles of Cha Hyun-soo, portrayed by Song Kang, and other survivors as they confront a mysterious infection that transforms people into monsters within their residence, Green Home. The second season expanded the setting to a broader survival conflict where characters fought against the monster curse in various locations.

Netflix indicated that the upcoming third season will explore deeper narratives and relationships among the characters, continuing to build on the show's complex storyline and its themes of survival and human resilience.
