NCT Wish, the final subgroup of the South Korean boy band NCT, is set to release a new single titled "Songbird" in Japan on June 24, followed by a Korean release on July 1, as announced by their agency, SM Entertainment, on Monday.
The single will feature two tracks, including the title track "Songbird" and a B-side track "Tears Are Falling." This release marks the band's first new music since their debut single "Wish," which was released in March.

"Songbird" is produced by singer BoA, who also oversaw the debut of NCT Wish and produced their debut single. According to SM Entertainment, the new single aims to showcase an evolution in the group's musical style and performance.
NCT Wish, consisting of four Japanese members (Riku, Yushi, Ryo, and Sakuya) and two Korean members (Sion and Jaehee), made their debut with "Wish," released digitally in Japan and Korea on February 28.
Recently, the band began its first meet-and-greet tour, hosting four events at Myunghwa Live Hall in Seoul's Yeongdeungpo District on May 25 and 26.
