Singer HyunA is set to end her two-year hiatus with the release of a new solo EP titled "Attitude" on May 2, according to her agency AT AREA.

This marks HyunA's first EP produced under the guidance of hip-hop producer duo GroovyRoom and their agency, AT AREA, following her transition to the label in November last year. Her previous music release, the eighth EP titled "Nabillera," was launched in July 2022 under the label P Nation.

Chief producers for the EP are GroovyRoom, as stated in AT AREA's press release. HyunA contributed to the lyrics and composition, while GroovyRoom handled composition and song arrangement.

In November, HyunA teased the EP with a two-minute performance video of a track bearing the same name as the EP, coinciding with her announcement of joining AT AREA. The agency described "Attitude" as reflecting the singer's "candid and confident attitude" as she embarks on a new chapter.

AT AREA stated that the EP would showcase HyunA's versatility as an artist and highlight her growth, including elevated vocals. Details regarding the lead track and the number of songs on the EP will be disclosed at a later date.

HyunA rose to fame as a member of the girl group Wonder Girls in 2007 before departing the same year. She later joined girl group 4Minute in 2009 before embarking on a successful solo career in 2010. Known for hits like "Bubble Pop" (2011), "Ice Cream" (2012), and "Lip & Hip" (2017), she gained global recognition for her appearance in the music video for Psy's 2012 hit "Gangnam Style."
