Label YG Entertainment disclosed on Thursday that the music video for Blackpink's song "Shut Down" has accumulated over 600 million views on YouTube. This marks the group's 15th music video to achieve this milestone, accomplished within approximately 1 1/2 years since its release.

"Shut Down" serves as the lead single from Blackpink's second studio album, titled "Born Pink." The hip-hop track, which samples Paganini's "La Campanella," debuted on Billboard's Hot 100 chart at No. 25 and claimed the top position on Spotify's global songs chart.

Reportedly, YG Entertainment invested its largest budget ever into the production of the "Shut Down" music video. The video quickly ascended to the top of YouTube's most-viewed videos in the past 24 hours list and garnered an impressive 100 million views within just five days of its release.

Amidst these achievements, Blackpink, consisting of four members, is anticipated to make a full-group comeback next year, exciting fans with the promise of new music and performances.
