Dream Concert, a notable annual K-pop event, will extend its reach to Japan this August, marking its 30th anniversary. The concert, which originated in South Korea in 1995, will take place at the Belluna Dome in Saitama on August 10-11 under the theme “With Music We Got a Friend.”

This event will be the second time Dream Concert has been held outside of South Korea, with the first international edition occurring on June 18 of the previous year at the Saitama Super Arena, also in Japan. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021, Dream Concert adapted to the circumstances by holding virtual events, maintaining its connection with fans worldwide.

The 2024 concerts are set to feature a broad range of K-pop artists from prominent agencies such as Hybe, JYP Entertainment, and SM Entertainment. The diverse lineup will span multiple genres and generations within the K-pop industry.

The event is organized by Kyunghyang Shinmun, the Korea Entertainment Producer’s Association, Forest Media, and Forest Japan. In addition to the concerts in Japan, a 30th-anniversary event will also be held in South Korea, with further details to be announced at a later date.
