The popular Japanese anime "Oshi no Ko" will have its first-ever exhibition in South Korea, offering fans an in-depth look into the creation of the hit series. Exhibition planning company WaysB announced on February 6 that the event, titled "TV Anime Oshi no Ko – Lies and Children / Light and Shadow," will be held at Duks Seoul in Mapo-gu, Seoul, starting March 22 and running until June 8.

The exhibition will showcase various production materials, including storyboards, replicated animation frames, and detailed character design sheets used in the making of the TV adaptation. Visitors will also have the opportunity to revisit some of the most memorable lines from the anime, displayed throughout the space.

Additionally, the event will feature a photo zone, allowing attendees to take pictures alongside life-sized images of beloved characters. Fans will also be able to purchase official merchandise, including exclusive items previously available only at the original exhibition in Japan.

"Oshi no Ko," based on the manga written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, quickly became a major success upon its anime debut in 2023. The series, which explores themes of celebrity culture, deception, and ambition, has garnered a dedicated fanbase worldwide.

A representative from WaysB emphasized the significance of bringing the first official "Oshi no Ko" exhibition to Korea, stating, "This exhibition will provide Korean fans with an immersive experience into the world of 'Oshi no Ko' through rare production materials and exclusive content."

Tickets for the exhibition will be available through official ticketing platforms, with more details expected to be released soon. With growing anticipation among Korean fans, the event is poised to be one of the most exciting anime exhibitions of the year.
