Actor Lee Junho has made a generous donation of 100 million KRW to assist underprivileged pediatric and adolescent patients. The donation, given to Samsung Medical Center, will be used to fund treatments, including surgeries, transplants, and rehabilitation programs, as well as emotional support initiatives for young patients.

Through his agency JYP Entertainment, Lee Junho stated on December 23, “I wanted to give back for the love I’ve received this year, especially during Christmas. I hope that children in need of treatment can have a warm and joyful holiday season.” He added, “In the coming year, I wish for more children to grow up healthy and to dream big. I will continue to provide support and care for those in need.”

This latest act of kindness is part of Lee Junho’s ongoing commitment to philanthropy. His charitable journey began in 2011, when he supported children in Ethiopia and Ghana through World Vision, an international relief and development NGO.

In 2012, he was officially appointed as a World Vision ambassador and has participated in various activities, including the “Global 6K for Water” campaign. During his solo concerts in 2015, 2017, and 2024, Lee Junho set up promotional booths to encourage his fans to join him in supporting children in need.

In 2019, he donated to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association to aid victims of wildfires in Gangwon Province, providing relief supplies and funding for recovery efforts. That same year, he gifted a vehicle to a facility in Seocho-gu, Seoul, that serves individuals with severe disabilities.

In 2020, amid the challenges posed by COVID-19, Lee Junho contributed emergency relief funds to World Vision, offering aid to children struggling during the pandemic. In 2022, as part of a partnership between his agency and World Vision, he extended his support to children in Mongolia.

This year, Lee Junho was also inducted into the "Honor Society," a group of major donors who have contributed over 100 million KRW to charitable causes.

On the professional front, Lee Junho is set to hold his fan concert 2025 Lee Junho Fan-Con Midnight Sun at Incheon’s Inspire Arena on January 25-26. He will also meet fans in Tokyo on February 8-9 and in São Paulo on March 1-2.

His next acting project is the Netflix series Cashero, a superhero drama in which he plays Kang Sang Woong, a public servant who gains superhuman strength proportional to the amount of cash he holds. The series tells the story of an ordinary man who uses his newfound powers to save the world.
