G-Dragon is set to take the stage at Thailand’s largest K-pop concert, K-Star Spark, marking his return to the global spotlight.
On February 3, his agency, Galaxy Corporation, confirmed that G-Dragon will perform at K-Star Spark on February 22 at Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok. The stadium, which boasts a 50,000-seat capacity, will host an interactive concert experience, making it one of the most anticipated K-pop events in Thailand.
This marks the inaugural year for K-Star Spark, and G-Dragon will be the first performer to open the event. The lineup also includes Daesung of BIGBANG, BamBam of GOT7, and Minnie of (G)I-DLE, promising a star-studded showcase for fans.
G-Dragon has been actively engaging with fans through new music and international events. Last year, he released singles such as POWER and Home Sweet Home, demonstrating his continued influence in the industry. Additionally, on January 28, he performed alongside Taeyang at France’s Pièces Jaunes Charity Event, further highlighting his presence on the global stage.
Adding to the excitement, G-Dragon is also preparing for a domestic concert in March. This was hinted at by Daesung during Taeyang’s encore concert on February 1, where he stated, “Our Yong hyung’s concert is happening in March.”
With K-Star Spark and his upcoming solo concert, G-Dragon’s return is shaping up to be one of the most highly anticipated moments in K-pop this year.
