Stray Kids, one of K-pop’s most globally acclaimed fourth-generation boy groups, marked their 7th debut anniversary on March 26, solidifying their status as chart-topping icons with a dedicated fanbase and musical innovation. Since debuting in 2018 with their first EP I am NOT, the group—anchored by in-house production unit 3RACHA (Bang Chan, Changbin, Han)—has remained at the forefront of self-produced K-pop.
To celebrate the milestone, Stray Kids released a digital single Mixtape: dominATE on March 21. The surprise gift featured unit songs with unconventional member pairings, delighting both Korean and international fans, collectively known as STAY. The release swiftly rose to the top of iTunes and Apple Music Top Songs charts in multiple regions, and the accompanying music video reached No.1 on YouTube’s worldwide trending list.
On March 25, the group posted an official celebratory image on their SNS platforms, showcasing their enduring camaraderie. The next day, they hosted an online livestream to reflect on their journey and engage with fans, adding an intimate touch to the commemorative week.
Over the past seven years, Stray Kids has demonstrated consistent growth, culminating in a historic streak on the Billboard 200 chart, where they became the first K-pop boy group of their generation to secure six consecutive No.1 albums. Their chart performance also includes entry into the Billboard Hot 100 with “LALALALA” at No. 90, followed by “Chk Chk Boom” and additional tracks making it onto the chart.
Stray Kids' achievements extend beyond the charts. They’ve earned accolades from prestigious ceremonies such as the MTV Video Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and People’s Choice Awards. In a significant milestone, they also became the first K-pop act of their generation to surpass one million physical album sales in the U.S. alone.
Looking ahead, the group will resume their world tour dominATE in Santiago on March 27–28, bringing their high-energy performances back to international stages.
