Triplela Inc., a subsidiary of Neptune (co-CEOs Kang Yul Bin and Jung Wook), has achieved remarkable success with its mobile idle management simulation game Office Cat: Idle Tycoon. The game, launched on May 3, has become the highest-grossing and most downloaded mobile tycoon game of the year globally in just seven months.

According to Sensor Tower’s app performance data, Office Cat has surpassed 10 million downloads worldwide across the Apple App Store and Google Play, with cumulative revenue reaching approximately $15 million.

The game’s downloads were led by the United States (16.5%), followed by Mexico (12.7%) and South Korea (8.2%). In terms of revenue, the U.S. accounted for the largest share at 39.4%, with South Korea (20.9%) and Japan (13.3%) following. Office Cat ranked 8th globally in mobile tycoon game downloads and 26th in revenue for 2024.

Sensor Tower’s Game Intelligence reports that over 30% of downloads in the animal-themed game category focus on cat-related titles, with such games ranking 3rd or 4th in revenue. Triplela, which generates about 98% of its revenue and downloads from cat-themed games, previously dominated the casual idle mobile game market with its title Cat Snack Bar, which ranked first in global downloads.

Office Cat allows players to decorate various offices, manage feline employees, and grow their businesses with effective strategies and management. Combining idle production mechanics with simulation gameplay, the game generates income even when players are offline, enabling continuous business growth. Its intuitive interface ensures accessibility for players of all ages, contributing to its broad appeal.

This success highlights the growing demand for engaging and visually appealing idle simulation games in the mobile market. Triplela’s ability to create games that merge compelling themes with easy-to-play mechanics has solidified its position as a leader in the casual mobile gaming sector.
