“TIME” marks Eddy Kim’s first release in ten months since his January collaboration with producer Yoon Jong Shin on the track “track by YOON: It’ll Get Better.” Known for providing solace and empathy in his music, Eddy Kim is expected to convey even deeper emotions and a new musical style with this upcoming release. Notably, this single is his first solo work under his own name since October 2018, marking his official comeback after a six-year hiatus.
Eddy Kim halted his activities in April 2019, amidst the “Burning Sun Gate” scandal, which involved several figures in the K-pop industry. His close associates, including Seungri of BIGBANG, Choi Jong Hoon of FT Island, and singer Jung Joon Young, were implicated in serious offenses related to illegal video sharing and distribution.
