K-pop band DAY6 has added six more cities to its ongoing third international tour, “Forever Young,” according to an announcement from JYP Entertainment on Thursday. The tour will now include stops in Kaohsiung, Taiwan; Sydney and Melbourne, Australia; Auckland, New Zealand; and Los Angeles and New York in the United States. With these new additions, the tour will cover 16 cities across the globe, with a total of 21 concerts.

The quartet kicked off “Forever Young” on October 5 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, marking their first tour in over four and a half years. The initial concerts in Indonesia, held in three cities through October 20, were completely sold out, reflecting the group’s enduring popularity and strong fan base. DAY6 is set to resume the tour in late November, with the possibility of adding even more cities in the near future.

In addition to the tour, DAY6 recently released their ninth extended play (EP), “Band Aid,” which features the focus track “Melt Down.” The EP quickly climbed to the top of Melon’s Top 100 chart, showcasing the band’s unique sound and continuing success in the K-pop industry. “Band Aid” explores themes of healing and resilience, resonating with listeners through its emotive lyrics and melodic rock style that DAY6 is known for.

Meanwhile, Sungjin, the band’s leader, is set to make his solo debut with his first studio album, “30,” scheduled for release on November 5. To celebrate this milestone, he will hold his first solo concert in Seoul from November 8 to 10, giving fans a chance to experience his individual artistry apart from the band. The album and concert are expected to provide a more personal look into Sungjin’s musical identity, exploring new creative avenues while still retaining the essence of DAY6’s sound.

As DAY6 continues to expand their international presence, the “Forever Young” tour reinforces the group’s commitment to their global fan base. Known for their strong live performances and authentic approach to music, DAY6 has built a loyal following worldwide, and the extended tour schedule reflects the growing demand for their concerts.

Fans across Asia, Oceania, and North America are eagerly awaiting DAY6’s performances, which promise to deliver their signature mix of rock, pop, and heartfelt lyrics. With new music and solo projects adding to the excitement, DAY6’s journey is one that continues to evolve, bringing them closer to audiences around the world and solidifying their place in the international music scene.
