K-pop group ATEEZ has teamed up once more with Japanese boy band Be:First to release a new collaborative single, Royal, according to KQ Entertainment on Wednesday. The single blends English and Japanese lyrics, delivering a message about individuality, and emphasizing how each person is “royal” or unique in their way.

ATEEZ members Mingi and Hongjoong played a pivotal role in the production of Royal. Mingi not only produced the track but also co-wrote the lyrics with Hongjoong, showcasing their creative involvement in shaping the group’s musical direction.

This marks the second time the two groups have worked together, following their July collaboration on the single Hush-Hush, which achieved significant success. Hush-Hush topped Oricon’s Weekly Digital Single ranking and also climbed to a high spot on Billboard Japan’s Hot 100, further solidifying both groups’ presence in the Japanese market.

In addition to their collaborative work, ATEEZ has been actively engaging with fans in Japan. Last month, the group held its first-ever fan meeting in Tokyo, an event that was met with great enthusiasm from local fans. Looking ahead, ATEEZ is set to release their fourth Japanese single, Birthday, on October 2.

ATEEZ has also been busy on the global stage. The group recently wrapped up the U.S. leg of their world tour, Towards the Light: Will to Power, which saw them perform in 10 cities across the United States. They will continue the tour in Europe next year, further cementing their international popularity.
