A new documentary film titled "Jung Kook: I Am Still" is set to give fans a deep dive into the solo journey of BTS’s youngest member, Jungkook. The film, produced by Hybe, will be released in theaters next month, offering an exclusive look at the K-pop superstar’s solo career, which began in July 2023.
This documentary is the 10th film in the BTS series presented by Hybe, marking another milestone in the group’s illustrious career. The film chronicles Jungkook's eight-month journey as a solo artist, beginning with the launch of his debut single "Seven." The movie is expected to feature unreleased interviews, behind-the-scenes footage of album preparations, and rare glimpses into his experiences on and off stage.
"Jung Kook: I Am Still" will have its exclusive premiere in South Korea at CGV theaters on September 18, with a subsequent release in over 120 countries and regions worldwide. Japanese audiences can expect the film in theaters on October 4.

Jungkook made a spectacular debut as a solo artist with "Seven," which not only topped the charts but also made history by positioning him as the first Asian solo artist to achieve the number one spot on Billboard’s Hot 100, Global 200, and Global 200 Excluding US charts. His solo album "Golden," released in November 2023, further solidified his status in the global music scene, with tracks like "Standing Next to You" amassing over 700 million streams on Spotify.
The documentary will also unveil behind-the-scenes stories from his surprise guerrilla performance at TSX Entertainment in New York's Times Square, along with exclusive footage of the recording sessions for "Standing Next to You" in the United States.
As of now, Jungkook is fulfilling his mandatory military service, with his discharge scheduled for June 11, 2025. Despite his current military obligations, his impact on the global music industry continues to resonate, and this documentary promises to be a testament to his enduring influence.
