Speculation over Rosé’s possible absence from BLACKPINK’s 10th anniversary event has circulated online. Her agency, THEBLACKLABEL, said on Aug. 7 that Rosé had secured the related schedule in advance.
THEBLACKLABEL issued a statement titled “Notice Regarding Artist Rosé’s 10th Debut Anniversary Schedule” through its official social media accounts. The agency said inaccurate information and unverified speculation concerning Rosé’s personal schedule and participation in the anniversary event had recently spread online.
According to THEBLACKLABEL, Rosé had prioritized the anniversary-related schedule well in advance and had secured and confirmed her schedules to make time to meet fans. The agency also asked the public to refrain from criticism based on unverified speculation.
YG Entertainment announced the BLACKPINK 10th anniversary event on Aug. 6. The “10th Anniversary Meet & Greet” is scheduled to take place in Seoul on Aug. 8.
A total of 40 BLACKPINK membership holders will be selected by lottery to attend the event. YG Entertainment stated that only some members who are available due to their schedules are expected to participate. The event was not announced as a full-group appearance.
