Krafton is set to host the PUBG Mobile Rivals Cup 2024 Season 2: Korea vs Japan (PMRC 2024 Season 2) from October 19 to 20. This highly anticipated esports event will bring together top professional teams from South Korea and Japan, who will compete for not only national pride but also a coveted spot in the prestigious 2024 PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC).

The PMRC is an annual esports tournament that pits the best teams from both countries against each other. Held twice a year, the tournament sees eight top teams from each country’s pro league—PUBG Mobile Pro Series (PMPS) in Korea and PUBG Mobile Japan League (PMJL) in Japan—facing off in an intense series of matches.

The stakes are higher than ever in this second season of 2024. The winning team will secure a spot in the year-end PMGC 2024, considered one of the most significant international events in the world of PUBG Mobile esports. While South Korean teams DRX and Dplus Kia have already qualified for the PMGC, eight other top teams from PMPS 2024 Season 3 will be competing for the championship in the PMRC.

Japan will also field eight elite teams from PMJL Season 4 Phase 2. While CAG Osaka and Vortex have already secured their places in PMGC, Vortex has relinquished their spot due to internal circumstances, passing the opportunity to the next-in-line team, Vengeance. The competition will be fierce as these top teams battle for their chance to represent their countries on the global stage.

PMRC 2024 Season 2 will be held online over two days, with six matches played each day for a total of 12 matches. Fans can watch all the action live via the official PUBG Mobile esports YouTube channel, TikTok, and Naver esports, starting at 3 p.m. (KST) each day.

Adding to the excitement, the viewing party for the October 20 matches will take place at the Battlegrounds Mobile x Sidiz The Blue Zone Seongsu pop-up store in Seoul, allowing fans to experience the intense matches in person. One lucky attendee will win a ticket to the PMGC finals in London, including airfare and event access.

Krafton has also prepared a series of engaging events during the competition. Fans can show their support for the Korean teams by leaving comments on the official PUBG Mobile cafe and winning in-game rewards, including Chicken Medals. A special event will also reward 10 fans with exclusive Succubus Horn headgear, adding a layer of community involvement to the high-stakes competition.

The tournament’s prize pool is massive, with the PMRC winner earning a spot in the global championship. Last year's winners, Clash Champs in Clash of Clans and Zeta Division in Brawl Stars set high expectations for what promises to be a thrilling esports season finale.

Krafton’s commitment to building global competitive platforms for PUBG Mobile continues with PMRC 2024 Season 2, offering fans and players alike a chance to witness the peak of mobile esports competition.
