Rising K-pop group Nmixx is set to make history as the first K-pop artist to participate in Billboard Latin Music Week, according to an announcement from their agency, JYP Entertainment. The group will attend the prestigious event as panelists on October 16, where they will discuss K-pop's growing influence in the Latin music market.

Billboard Latin Music Week, now in its 35th year, is the largest event in the Latin music industry. This year's event will take place from October 14 to 18 at The Fillmore Miami Beach in Florida and will feature over 100 artists and groups, including notable names such as Grupo Frontera, Alvaro Diaz, and Debi Nova. Nmixx’s inclusion as the first K-pop act highlights the global fusion of musical cultures, further bridging the gap between K-pop and Latin music.

Leila Cobo, Billboard Latin's chief content officer, expressed her excitement for Nmixx’s participation, stating, "We are thrilled to have Nmixx join us as the first K-pop artist at Billboard Latin Music Week. Their vibrant energy and unique musical style will add a fresh dynamic to the event, offering a new opportunity for cross-cultural collaboration."

Nmixx, who debuted in 2022, has been steadily gaining recognition for their powerful live performances and dynamic stage presence. Their third mini-album Fe3O4: Stick Out, released on August 19, has garnered attention, particularly with the title track See That?. This upcoming appearance at Billboard Latin Music Week will further solidify their presence on the international stage.

Before heading to the U.S., Nmixx will hold their second fan concert, Nmixx Change Up: Mixx Lab, from October 4 to 6 at Jangchung Arena in Seoul. Fans are eager to see how the group will continue to evolve and expand their influence globally, especially with their groundbreaking appearance at this key Latin music event.
