Cha Eun-woo, member of the boy band Astro and established actor, is set to make his solo music debut with the release of his first EP, "Entity," on Thursday.

"Entity" features six tracks, with the lead song titled "Stay." Cha, also known as Lee Dong-min, collaborated in writing the lyrics for all six songs on the EP. The album aims to express Cha's authentic emotions beneath the public persona of Cha Eun-woo, conveying his determination to live truthfully while embracing all facets of himself, as stated by his agency, Fantagio.

Centered around the concept of a "home" symbolized by the term "entity," the album explores Cha's introspective journey. The lead track, "Stay," is characterized as a country pop song offering solace to those experiencing separation from their loved ones. Additional tracks include "Where am I," delving into the emptiness behind a glamorous exterior, the rebellious "Fu*king great time," and the uplifting "You're the Best."

Cha Eun-woo, who debuted as an actor in 2014 with a minor role in the film "My Brilliant Life," joined the boy band Astro in 2016. Throughout his career, he has taken on prominent roles in popular Korean drama series such as "Gangnam Beauty" (2018), "True Beauty" (2020-2021), "Island" (2022), and "A Good Day to be a Dog," which concluded in January. The upcoming MBC series "Wonderful World," where Cha plays the male lead, is set to premiere on March 1.

In addition to his acting endeavors, Cha will launch his fan concert tour, "2024 Just One 10 Minute [Mystery Elevator]," commencing at the Jamsil Arena on Saturday.
