K-pop boy group Ateez is set to make history as the first K-pop artist to perform a standalone concert at La Defense Arena in Paris, which can accommodate around 40,000 people. The concert is part of the European leg of their “Towards the Light: Will to Power” world tour, scheduled for January and February 2025.
According to KQ Entertainment, Ateez will perform in nine European countries, holding 12 shows. This marks the first time the group will hold standalone concerts in cities such as Lyon, Zurich, Manchester, Barcelona, and Cologne.
The announcement comes after the group’s highly successful North American tour earlier this year. During the July and August leg, Ateez performed 13 shows in 10 cities, drawing approximately 200,000 fans. They made their stadium debut at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles and became the first K-pop boy group to perform at Globe Life Field in Arlington. Ateez also followed in BTS’s footsteps by performing at Citi Field in New York.
In addition to their music career, Ateez's members are gaining attention in the global fashion scene. Members Hongjoong, Wooyoung, and San attended prestigious spring-summer 2025 fashion week events across Europe. San also made headlines for attending a private dinner hosted by Madonna during Milan Fashion Week.
Meanwhile, Ateez is set to release their fourth Japanese single, “Birthday,” on October 2, adding another milestone to their growing international presence.
