According to Sensor Tower's app performance report, Archer Legend 2, the official sequel to Archer Legend by Habby, has surpassed $30 million (approximately 43.7 billion KRW) in cumulative revenue since its release on November 20, 2024. The game has reached over 3 million downloads globally, with China’s iOS market accounting for 25.8% of the downloads and Korea contributing 25%.
The game’s revenue distribution shows that Korea is the largest contributor, with 32.6% of the total revenue, followed by Taiwan at 28.4% and China iOS at 14.6%. Sensor Tower highlighted that Korea's revenue per download (RPD) stands at around $12 (approximately 17,000 KRW), which is more than twice the RPD of China, further emphasizing the crucial role of the Korean market in the game's financial success.
Archer Legend 2 has not only seen impressive download numbers but also achieved high rankings in mobile gaming. It reached the top position for mobile game downloads in Korea and ranked 7th for revenue. This strong performance follows Habby's success with another title, Capybara GO!, which secured 6th place in mobile game revenue in October 2024.
Looking at Habby’s global mobile game revenue, Korea contributes 18.3%, making it the second-largest market after the United States, which accounts for 25.4%. The most significant revenue contributor from Habby’s portfolio is Tangtang Special Forces, which makes up nearly 49% of the total revenue, followed by Archer Legend with 28%. Archer Legend 2 ranks 7th in global revenue contribution, a notable achievement for a newly launched title.
Sensor Tower’s data also reveals how downloads are distributed across channels. For Archer Legend 2, 55.3% of the downloads were organic, while 43% came from paid sources. The game’s strong connection to its predecessor through similar game icons, descriptions, and promotional content helped attract a significant number of players from the previous title, contributing to its early success.
Another key feature that sets Archer Legend 2 apart from other top-grossing mobile games is its exceptionally short tutorial. With only a 28-second onboarding experience, the game allows players to quickly immerse themselves in the gameplay. This short introductory phase has been a defining characteristic of all of Habby's recent releases, emphasizing the studio’s commitment to offering a smooth and immediate player experience.
Sensor Tower’s app performance report provides insights into revenue and download estimates across both the App Store and Google Play, offering a comprehensive look at the game’s commercial performance.
